Hey everyone! I’m still here and getting after it as hard as usual. As always, huge thanks to ProSource.net for allowing me to do this, because as you all know I am a huge fan of everything they have to offer, and it works, I’m living proof of that.
There have been plenty of highs and lows this past 6 months but I’m still here and still in it to see what I’m capable of. My top 3 ProSource supplements, which is extremely hard to nail down, are MyoZene, NytroWhey, and Androtest. Again, thank you ProSource for the incredible supplements that continuously work in the background 24/7 to support my training and physique enhancement efforts.
Please remember that there is no magic pill. To see true results everything needs to be as dialed in as you can get it, consistently. This means diet, water intake, rest, supplementation, and hard work in the gym. Get the protein intake around 1.5 times your bodyweight and work hard at the gym. Always walk out knowing that you gave 100% on that given day, that there wasn’t anything left to give. All of this produces results you can be proud of and feel very accomplished because it was all you.
Meeting the Challenges Life Throw At You
So what have I been up to? It was one hell of a winter is all that I can say. For five days I had some serious health issues that were really diagnosed correctly despite numerous tests. Spent a day in the emergency room, was very anemic, and on iron for a couple of months. Missed 3 lifting days. February hit with annual maintenance outages and I worked three weeks straight before coming down with Covid. Missed 5 lifting days. But then spring rolled in and we are back at it full steam ahead.
Why am I sharing this? To demonstrate commitment and the desire to be my best no matter what. Am I competing for anything or going for any records? No. Then why did I push so hard during these illnesses and long work hours? To build mental strength. I think the most important thing I have learned is that you have to be extremely mentally strong and have the ability to work through the hard times.
Building mental toughness outside of the gym allows you push harder in the gym, because you can push for five more pounds or one more rep whereas before you would let your body dictate when you were done. The body is going to do whatever it can to eliminate stress and it is going to bark at you, making you think that the world is going to end if you keep going.
Look at it this way: Crash diets. What happens? You stop eating, you lose a bunch of weight in a hurry, and stress the hell out of your body. Sounds great doesn’t it? What happens when you start eating again? You put the weight back on and then some because you stressed out your body and it is preparing for the next time this happens by having additional fat stored up for the next big stress or shall we say fad diet.
Building muscle works the same way. Stress the body by progressive overload and it is going to compensate with more muscle over time as long as you have everything dialed in - diet, water intake, rest, supplementation, hard work in the gym and the mental toughness to take your body where it doesn’t want to go.

What’s next? May is here, which means warm summer weather, which means shirts off and shorts and bikinis on. Are you ready to shed that winter layer? I am.
