Time it took to complete Transformation:
After my 18th birthday, I decided it was time to change. I was so sick of being the fat guy and not feeling or looking the best. I started off with opti-fast shakes, and musashi protein shakes as meal replacements and then a healthy meal for dinner every day. As I got a month into my diet, I changed to just normal healthy eating and supplementing with shakes. I noticed I was losing even more then when I took the shakes regularly--it was great! I lost 17lbs in the first week. all cardio and minimal weight training (it was only resistance). I found it hard to eat healthy all the time because everyone around me was still eating what they wanted to, but I stuck to my diet. I also started putting a lot more time and effort into my training. I was doing 6 sessions, 1.5 hours each time. I had lost roughly 39lbs and my friends were starting to tell me how well I was doing. I started my journey in July of 2011. Now I'm 5'9", 158lbs and have recently put on 22lbs of muscle and am close to the weight I want to be.
