The Item: Career Updates, Special Appearances, Legends Update, Special Honors, Andrew Oye's WWE Pro Athletes Roundup, NFL Pro Athletes Roundup, IFBB Pro Athletes Roundup

The Scoop: Recently Reported: WWE Pro athletes and IFBB Pro League athletes had career updates or made recent guest appearances at various sports, bodybuilding, physique and fitness events. The latest "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report" Pro Athletes Roundup includes wrestlers with Hollywood careers, new pro bodybuilders just starting their careers, and a physique champion honored for his career.

The "So What?": Over the weekend, actor and WWE Superstar Dave Bautista (Batista) made his debut appearance at the Fan Expo Canada at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. Batista greeted fans, signed autographs, posed for photos, and participated in a Q&A panel. WWE Women's Champ Trish Stratus also made the trip to Ontario, Canada, for the pop-culture (comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming) fest.

Actor and WWE Champion "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson made an appearance at the IFBB North American Bodybuilding Championships, where about 94 winning athletes across the men's and women's divisions were issued new IFBB Pro cards, including new IFBB Pro Erik Ramirez. Also spotted at the joint North American Championships and Pittsburgh Pro Masters Championships: NFL Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Football Player Troy Polamalu, IFBB Pro Jose Raymond, IFBB Pro Brian Yersky, IFBB Pro Fred Smalls, IFBB Pro India Paulino, 2014 Mr. USA and new IFBB Pro Nick Trigili, and WWE Diva Tamina Snuka, daughter of legendary WWF/WWE wrestler "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka.

Legendary IFBB Hall of Famer, Mr. Olympia contender and current MUSCLE INK Magazine cover athlete, IFBB Pro Lee Labrada was inducted into the Muscle Beach Hall of Fame in Venice Beach, California. IFBB Pro Ronny Rockel posted the first in a series of videos that document his return to competition late in 2014. His 2013 comeback after illness in 2012, resulted in a 13th place finish at the Arnold Sports Festival's IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Bodybuilding Championships; FIBO Germany (5th); Mr. Europe Pro (6th); and Arnold Classic Brasil (9th).

Andrew Oye's Verdict: The late 2014 contests that will feed the IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series for the 2015 IFBB Pro League contest season are already heating up and pulling in competitors. IFBB Pro Mamdouh Elssbiay (a.k.a. "Big Ramy") announced intentions to compete in the 2014 Prague Pro Bodybuilding Championships in the Czech Republic (October 4), which follows Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend ("Super Bowl of Bodybuilding"). "This will be the first time I'm coming to Europe to compete," says the Egyptian-born, 2-time New York Pro Champion. "Since the IFBB Pro League organized a series of shows after the Olympia, I said why not throw my hat in all the post-Olympia shows." The question is: Will Elssbiay be going to Prague as the new Olympia champ? Reigning 3-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Phil Heath might have an answer for Big Ramy.
