The Scoop: Recently Reported: IFBB Pro League athletes and pros from other sports leagues had career updates or made recent guest appearances at various sports, bodybuilding, physique and fitness events. The latest "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report" Pro Athletes Roundup includes a range of competitors from a range of sports from wrestling to boxing to mixed martial arts, as well as a range of competitors from the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness.

The "So What?": Over the weekend, IFBB Pro Ben Pakulski had been scheduled to be the featured guest-poser at 32nd Annual NPC Paradise Cup Bodybuilding Championships (an event where he had guest-posed back in 2012) in Honolulu, Hawaii. But, due to unforeseen circumstances, the big "Quadzilla" Canadian was unable to take the stage, and he was replaced by Hawaii's own IFBB Pro Corey Henderson (who recently earned his IFBB Pro card by winning the Masters 40+ Overall title at the 2015 IFBB North American Bodybuilding Championships). Two-time Arnold Classic USA Champion, IFBB Pro Branch Warren (a.k.a. "Quadrasaurus"") announced that he'll be meeting fans at the upcoming NPC Branch Warren Championships in Omaha, Nebraska (October 17).

Five-time winner of the Arnold Classic USA, IFBB Pro Dexter Jackson won the Arnold Sports Festival's 5th Annual IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Bodybuilding Championships in Madrid, Spain. First-ever Arnold Classic USA winner, IFBB Pro Rich Gaspari was spotted at the Arnold Classic Europe Expo. IFBB Pro Michael Lockett guest-posed at the NPC Daytona Beach Classic Championships in Florida. MMA fighter/IFBB Pro Robert Burneika made a guest appearance at the Osir Wawer Cup Bench Press Contest at a sport and recreation center in Warsaw, Poland. IFBB Pro Kenneth Jackson was spotted at the NPC Great Lakes/Ironman Championships in Flushing, Michigan.

Retired IFBB Pro Dennis James teamed with retired IFBB Pro Melvin Anthony to host a seminar and training camp in Guadalajara, Mexico. The weekend before last, James hosted the live webcast of Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend (a.k.a. the "Super Bowl of bodybuilding") in Las Vegas, Nevada, where IFBB Pro Phil Heath won his fifth Mr. Olympia title and IFBB Pro Flex Lewis won his fourth Olympia 212 Showdown title. Spotted at Olympia Expo: 8-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Ronnie Coleman, 4-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Jay Cutler, IFBB Pro Justin Compton, IFBB Pro Jason Huh, IFBB Pro Frank McGrath, pro wrestler/WNBF Pro Jessie Godderz, pro boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, IFBB Pro Chris Cormier, and powerlifter/bodybuilder Mike O'Hearn (from TV's "American Gladiators"), who hosted training workshops.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: Ben Pakulski's scheduling conflict opened an opportunity for a rookie pro to land a guest-posing gig. Instead, "Pak-Man" recorded a podcast interview with IFBB Hall of Famer and 4-time Arnold Classic Champion IFBB Pro Flex Wheeler, who Pakulski calls, "One of the greatest bodybuilders of all time. One of my very first bodybuilding idols." However, if Pakulski wants to build a resume anywhere close to that of his idol, he's got a lot more flexing to do. He last competed at the inaugural Arnold Classic Australia in March, where he landed in 7th place against winner Dexter Jackson. After earning pro status at the 2008 CBBF Canadian National Championships, Pakulski has yet to win a professional contest. He is currently preparing to compete at the 2016 Arnold Classic USA. Veteran competitor Jackson said he will take a well-deserved break from IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series contests early next year, so that opens an opportunity for Pakulski to possibly move up the ladder. Thus far, Pakulski's closest calls to victory have been a 2nd place runner-up to Jackson at the 2013 Arnold Classic USA and 2nd place runner-up  to IFBB Pro Lionel Beyeke at the 2012 Flex Pro Championships.
