The Item: IFBB Pro League Contest Results, Andrew Oye's IFBB Pro Athletes Roundup

The Scoop: Over the weekend, IFBB Pro Richard "Tricky" Jackson won 1st place in the 212 Division at the 2013 IFBB Chicago Pro Bodybuilding Championships. IFBB Pro Guy Cisternino claimed 2nd place. IFBB Pro Bola Ojex jumped from 5th place at the 2012 Chicago Pro to 3rd place at the 2013 contest. IFBB Pro Ray Arde took 4th place. Powerlifting IFBB Pro Derik Farnsworth fell from 2nd place last year to 5th place this year.

The "So What?": As reported in "Andrew Oye's Pro Muscle Report," the IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series Point System (1st automatic qualification, 2nd - 4 Points, 3rd - 3 Points, 4th - 2 Points, 5th - 1 Point) applies to IFBB Pro League athletes' eligibility to compete at Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend 212 Showdown (September 26-29) in Las Vegas to face reigning Olympia 212 Showdown Champion IFBB Pro Flex Lewis. The 2012 Chicago Pro Bodybuilding Championships was the city's first pro bodybuilding contest since the 1994 Chicago Pro Invitational. Last year's Chicago 212 Division was won by IFBB Pro Jamal Elmadawy, who earned his IFBB pro card after IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger's 2010 Arnold Amateur Bodybuilding Championships in Columbus, Ohio.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: It's been a while since IFBB Pro Tricky Jackson acquired a 1st place victory (his last was the 2010 IFBB Sacramento Pro Championships). He definitely earned his win in Illinois; yet, it's no coincidence that a current dominator of the 212 Division, IFBB Pro Jose Raymond, was not in the house.
