The "So What?":
As reported in "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report," the IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series Point System: (1st automatic qualification, 2nd - 4 Points, 3rd - 3 Points, 4th - 2 Points, 5th - 1 Point) applies to IFBB Pro League athletes' eligibility to compete at Joe Weider's Olympia in Las Vegas and face reigning Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Phil Heath next year. Last year's UKBFF British Championships winner and IFBB Pro card earner Cecil Croasdaile made his professional bodybuilding debut at the 2012 British Grand Prix Championships. Veteran competitor Tommi Thorvildsen made a comeback after an approximate 3-year break from competing.
Andrew Oye's Verdict:
Last year, massive IFBB Pro Branch Warren (a.k.a. "Quadrasaurus") won the British Grand Prix Pro Bodybuilding Championships and has a markedly different physique from this year's classically shaped victor Shawn Rhoden. The man they call "Flexatron" also just won the European IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Bodybuilding Championships at the Arnold Sports Festival in Madrid, Spain; has had a stellar 2012 IFBB Pro League contest season with four overall victories; and seemingly represents a changing of the guard in physique competition.
