The Item: IFBB Pro League Contest Results, Andrew Oye's IFBB Pro Athletes Roundup, WSM Pro Athletes Roundup

The Scoop: Just Announced: Over the weekend, IFBB Pro 212 Division competitors tore it up at the 2012 Toronto Pro Bodybuilding Championships in Canada. IFBB Pro Luke O. took 1st place. IFBB Pro Muhammad Masoom finished in 2nd place. Falling from his runner-up spot at last year's Toronto Pro SuperShow, IFBB Pro Mboya Edwards took the 3rd place position, followed by IFBB Pro Guy Cisternino in 4th place and IFBB Pro Lyndon Belgrave in 5th place.

The remaining field: IFBB Pro Ahmad Ahmad (6th), IFBB Pro Raul Carrasco Jimenez (7th), IFBB Pro Patrick Bernard (8th), IFBB Pro James Darling (9th), IFBB Pro Jason Marcovici (10th), and IFBB Pro Javier Martinez (11th).

The "So What?": As reported in "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report," the IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series Point System: (1st automatic qualification, 2nd - 4 Points, 3rd - 3 Points, 4th - 2 Points, 5th - 1 Point) applies to IFBB Pro League athletes' eligibility to compete at the Olympia 212 Showdown at Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend (September 29) in Las Vegas. Winner of an IFBB Pro card at the inaugural CBBF Elite Bodybuilding Championships in 2011, Patrick Bernard made his pro debut in the 212 Class. IFBB Pro Bill Wilmore won the Open Division at the Toronto Pro Championships. The expo's strongman challenge was emceed by bodybuilder and retired WSM World's Strongest Man competitor Hugo Girard.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: Since top 212 Division athletes like IFBB Pro David Henry, IFBB Pro Flex Lewis, IFBB Pro Eduardo Correa (10th place finisher in the Open Division at the Arnold Sports Festival's 2012 IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Bodybuilding Championships, won by IFBB Pro Branch Warren), IFBB Pro Al Auguste, IFBB Pro Kevin English (current Olympia 212/202 Showdown Champion) and IFBB Pro Jose Raymond skipped the Toronto event, this contest was a clear opportunity for any of the competitors with Olympia-Weekend hopes.
