IFBB Pro Renaldo Gairy was the 2nd place runner-up. IFBB Pro Akim Williams finished in 3rd place. Repeating his placing from last year, IFBB Pro Jojo Ntiforo took 4th place. IFBB Pro Brad Rowe landed in 5th place. The remaining field of physiques: IFBB Pro An Nguyen (6th), IFBB Pro Stephen Frazier (7th), IFBB Pro Toney Freeman (8th), former Canadian Football League player and NFL Detroit Lions Pro football player -- IFBB Pro Mark Byers (9th), and IFBB Pro Adorthus Cherry (10th). The "So What?":
As reported in "Andrew Oye's Pro Muscle Report," the IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series Point System (1st automatic qualification, 2nd - 4 Points, 3rd - 3 Points, 4th - 2 Points, 5th - 1 Point) applies to IFBB Pro League athletes' eligibility to compete at Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend (September 17-20) in Las Vegas, Nevada, to challenge reigning Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Phil Heath. Other events at the Europa Games Get Fit & Sports Expo: United States Air Force USAF Special Ops Challenge Course, fitness obstacle course challenge, martial arts, Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, NPC amateur bodybuilding, International Strength Association ISA powerlifting, arm wrestling, grappling, Super Fight Weekend (kickboxing and pro MMA fights), Europa Throwdown (CrossFit), and a seminar with 4-time Sandow trophy winner Phil Heath.Andrew Oye's Verdict:
Last year, the Dallas Pro Championships Open Division was won by IFBB Pro Branch Warren (a.k.a. the Texan "Quadrasaurus" and 2-time winner of the Arnold Sports Festival's IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Bodybuilding Championships), who made an appearance at this year's Europa Dallas Super Show expo. However, the win at this event was more significant for Fred Smalls, because it marked his first victory in an International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness competition, and it qualified him for his third chance in his professional career to contend at the "Super Bowl of bodybuilding" -- where he still seeks a super placing (so far, he did not place at the 2012 Olympia and took 13th place at the 2014 Olympia).
