The "So What?": This is the inaugural Toronto Pro SuperShow Championships, which is an addition to a larger expo at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. The event press release states, "With 70,000 square feet of Expo, and another 70,000 square feet of extreme sports, you have 140,000 square feet of pure excitement -- and the largest event of its kind in Canadian history!" As reported in "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report," 8-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Ronnie Coleman, IFBB Pro Toney Freeman, and 6-time Canada's Strongest Man winner Hugo Girard (also a 6-time World's Strongest Man finalist battling the likes of 5-time WSM Mariusz Pudzianowski) are among the star athletes who will appear at the Toronto Pro SuperShow Expo.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: The buzz for top placements includes names like Craig Richardson, Lionel Beyeke and Brandon Curry. Regarding Canadian athletes, Frank McGrath makes a post-injury comeback, and Santana Anderson makes his pro debut. It's surprising not to see top Canadian competitors IFBB Pro Ben Pakulski and IFBB Pro Fouad Abiad on the list -- both competed at the Arnold Sports Festival's 2011 IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Bodybuilding Championships (won by IFBB Pro Branch Warren), finishing 10th and 12th, respectively. While Abiad earned an Olympia qualification with a 3rd place finish at the FLEX Pro Championships in February, Pakulski has yet to qualify to compete against reigning Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Jay Cutler at Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend in Las Vegas (September 16).
