The Scoop:
Just Announced: Promoter of the North Carolina Pro -- Masters Olympia finalist and retired IFBB Pro Quincy Roberts -- just released the list of IFBB Pro League athletes that will compete at the 2012 IFBB North Carolina Pro Bodybuilding Championships (August 25).

212 Class Competitors:
IFBB Pro Oliver Adzievski
IFBB Pro Ahmad Ahmad
IFBB Pro Robert Belisle
IFBB Pro Curtis Bryant
IFBB Pro Jimmy Canyon
IFBB Pro Raul Carrasco Jimenez
IFBB Pro Guy Cisternino
IFBB Pro Charles Dixon
IFBB Pro Roger Ferrer
IFBB Pro Tricky Jackson
IFBB Pro Panexce Pierre
IFBB Pro Roxio Tapia
IFBB Pro Marvin Ward
IFBB Pro Vince Wawryk
IFBB Pro Quincy Winklaar

The "So What?":
As reported in "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report," IFBB Pro V. Ettienne won the 2011 IFBB North Carolina Pro Bodybuilding Championships, back when the 212 Division was still known as the 202 Division. But he will not return to Greensboro to defend the title, opening the opportunity for another athlete to gain IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series points toward a qualification for the Olympia 212 Showdown at Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Andrew Oye's Verdict:
Pre-contest frontrunners are Ricky "Tricky" Jackson and Gaetano Cisternino, with eyes also on athletes like Charles Dixon and Marvin Ward. IFBB Pro Roelly Winklaar will be watching the progress of his younger brother Quincy. Raul Carrasco-Jimenez, who visually reads taller/bigger than most others in this Class onstage, should find ways to really push his way near the top of this Division...or maybe test the waters in the Open Division (as IFBB Pro Eduardo Correa did, placing 10th at the Arnold Sports Festival's 2012 IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Bodybuilding Championships, won by IFBB Pro Branch Warren).
