The Item: Contest Results, New IFBB Pro League Cards, Andrew Oye's IFBB Pro Athletes Roundup

The Scoop: Recently Announced: William Bonac was named the Overall winner at the 2010 Juliette Bergmann Classic Bodybuilding Championships in Holland. Bonac's physique is well proportioned and his display of boulder biceps and separated mass took him to the top of the Over 90 kg Class. This win qualified the 5'5", 27-year-old Bonac for IFBB Pro League athlete status.

The "So What?": William Bonac had won the Overall title at the 2009 IBFA Universe Championships. His recent IFBB Pro card eligibility came at the inaugural edition of the NBBF/IFBB Nederland Juliette Bergmann Classic Championships, which IFBB Hall of Fame Dutch bodybuilder and three-time Ms. Olympia Juliette Bergmann hopes to make an annual event. As reported in "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report," Netherlands' superstar IFBB Pro Roelly Winklaar (who competed at his first Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend in September, won by Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Jay Cutler) served as the featured guest poser at the NBBF contest.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: The next goal of new IFBB Pro William Bonac is to take the stage at the IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Bodybuilding Championships. If Bonac follows in Winklaar's footsteps, the Arnold Classic could possibly showcase an increased number of IFBB Pro League athletes repping Holland (as retired IFBB Pro Ed Van Amsterdam did for a decade). On a side note: The Netherlands was the site of the 1992 Mr. Olympia Championships, won by IFBB Pro Dorian Yates, who defeated IFBB Pro Kevin Levrone, IFBB Pro Lee Labrada, IFBB Pro Shawn Ray, IFBB Pro Mohammed Benaziza, IFBB Pro Vince Taylor, IFBB Pro Sonny Schmidt, IFBB Pro Porter Cottrell, IFBB Pro Ron Love, IFBB Pro Thierry Pastel, IFBB Pro Steve Brisbois, IFBB Pro Lou Ferrigno (TV's "Incredible Hulk"), IFBB Pro Alq Gurley, IFBB Pro Henderson Thorne, IFBB Pro Francis Benfatto, IFBB Pro Samir Bannout, IFBB Pro Ronnie Coleman, IFBB Pro Miroslaw Daszkiewicz, IFBB Pro Jose Guzman, IFBB Pro Johani Herranen, IFBB Pro Patrick Nicholls and IFBB Pro Milos Sarcev.

The latest update from the Arnold Sports Festival camp (on Dec. 10, 2010) states: "The Netherlands sensation, William Bonac, won't accept a Pro Card until after the Arnold Amateur [Bodybuilding Championships], so he will be in Columbus competing in March 2011. He will be a threat to win the Overall and earn a spot in the 2012 Arnold Classic."
