The Item: Career Updates, Special Appearances, Andrew Oye's IFBB Pro Athletes Roundup

The Scoop: Recently Reported: From coast to international coast, IFBB Pro League athletes had career updates or made recent guest appearances at various sports, bodybuilding, physique and fitness events. The latest "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report" Pro Athletes Roundup includes giants in Germany and the buddies battling for the sports biggest title.

The "So What?": Over the weekend, at the FIBO Power Expo in Germany, one of the biggest sports and fitness expo events in Europe (where IFBB Pro Dexter Jackson won the FIBO Pro Bodybuilding Championships), IFBB Pro Phil Heath and 54-year-old, retired IFBB Pro Tony Pearson were guest posers. 4-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Jay Cutler took the stage as featured guest poser at the NPC Orange County Muscle Classic Bodybuilding Championships in Anaheim, California.

Gradually becoming known for his impressive posing style, IFBB Pro Hidetada Yamagishi and rookie IFBB Pro Brandon Curry were featured guests on the NPC Emerald Cup Bodybuilding Championships stage in Snoqualmie, Washington. Already known for distinct presentation style, IFBB Pro Tricky Jackson displayed his posing talents at the NPC Midwest-Iowa State Bodybuilding Championships. Last week, Germany's uber-massive IFBB Pro Markus Ruhl was on a tour of Norway, which included autograph signings and training seminars and ended with a guest posing appearance at the Sandefjord Open Bodybuilding Championships.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: In Essen, Germany, Phil Heath showed off a very early preview of the physique he has kept under wraps (by choosing to skip the Arnold Sports Festival's 2011 IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Bodybuilding Championships, won last month by IFBB Pro Branch Warren) and is saving for Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend in September. Based on Heath's "sneak peak," if he stays on track, Heath's good friend Jay Cutler --  the reigning Olympia Champion and a 3-time Arnold Classic winner -- will face a serious fight for the 2011 title and Sandow trophy in Las Vegas, just like he did against 2nd place runner-up Heath in 2010.
