The Item: Career Updates. Special Appearances, Andrew Oye's IFBB Pro Athletes Roundup

The Scoop: Recently Reported: IFBB Pro League athletes had career updates or made recent guest appearances at various sports, bodybuilding, physique and fitness events. The latest Andrew Oye's IFBB Pro Athletes Roundup includes a multiple Mr. Olympia winner and a multiple Arnold Classic winner.

The "So What?":
Over the weekend, Texas-resident, firefighter and IFBB Pro Steve Kuclo participated in the "Watch the Pros Train" annual event at the Europa Super Show Expo in Dallas. Both 4-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Jay Cutler and 2-time winner of the Arnold Sports Festival's IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Bodybuilding Championships IFBB Pro Branch Warren hosted seminars. In addition, "Quadrasaurus" Branch Warren was a guest-poser at the Europa Super Show (where IFBB Pro Shawn Rhoden won the Dallas Pro Bodybuilding Championships). Also spotted at the expo: IFBB Pro Desmond Miller, powerlifter/wrestler IFBB Pro Andy Haman, and UK IFBB Pro Zack Khan. The previous weekend, IFBB Pro Fred Smalls guest-posed at the NPC Orange County Muscle Classic in California.

"Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report" received information yesterday that Jay Cutler has just severed spokesman ties with his recently launched sports-supplement brand and plans to develop a new line with a new sports-nutrition company. This coming weekend, Cutler hosts his annual NPC Jay Cutler Baltimore Classic Championships in Maryland.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: It has also been reported that Jay Cutler has decided not to compete at next month's Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend in Las Vegas (now steered by the IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series). Although it means he won't get to face-off with friend and reigning Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Phil Heath, it's a wise move since a surgery earlier this year means he can focus on his offstage endeavors. Meanwhile, other Olympia-qualified athletes -- such as IFBB Pro Dexter Jackson, IFBB Pro Toney Freeman, IFBB Pro Dennis Wolf, IFBB Pro Ronny Rockel, IFBB Pro Roelly Winklaar, IFBB Pro Ben Pakulski, and IFBB Pro Evan Centopani -- will gladly fill the void Cutler leaves in the lineup of Sandow trophy seekers.
