The Item: Career Updates, Special Appearances, Legends Update, Andrew Oye's IFBB Pro Athletes Roundup

The Scoop: Recently Reported: IFBB Pro League athletes had career updates or made recent guest appearances at various sports, bodybuilding, physique and fitness events. The latest "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report" Pro Athletes Roundup includes the 2010 Mr. USA titleholder, the 2009 World's Strongest Bodybuilder Powerlifting Challenge titleholder, and a record-setting Mr. Olympia titleholder.

The "So What?": NPC USA Champion IFBB Pro Jason Huh, Powerlifter IFBB Pro Johnnie Jackson, 2-time Arnold Classic winner IFBB Pro K. Greene, and Canadian "Quadzilla" IFBB Pro Ben Pakulski were the featured guest posers at the 2011 NPC Southern States Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure, Bikini and Physique Championships in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Meanwhile, the reigning champion of the Arnold Sports Festival's IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Bodybuilding Championships, "Quadrasaurus" IFBB Pro Branch Warren guest-posed at a bodybuilding and fitness event in Mexico.

MUSCLE INK Magazine cover athlete and legendary 8-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Lee Haney, who has been racking up state senate honors and lifetime achievement awards, also made a guest appearance at the NPC Southern States event in Florida. Greene, Jackson and Jackson's occasional training partner Warren are preparing to take on 4-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Jay Cutler at Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend (September 16). Before that, Warren will host the 2011 NPC Branch Warren Classic Championships in Texas this weekend (July 16).

Andrew Oye's Verdict: Fans who saw the guest posers on stage are praising Johnnie Jackson's physical improvements to his already dominant upper body, and they seem more impressed with Jason Huh's between-contest mass than the judges were by his conditioning at his first pro contests -- 6th place at the New York Pro Bodybuilding Championships (won by Greene) and 7th place at the Tampa Pro (won by IFBB Pro Marius Dohne) -- but the rookie is just getting started. As for the others, they'll soon join IFBB Pro Dexter Jackson, IFBB Pro Phil Heath, IFBB Pro Dennis Wolf and IFBB Pro Ronny Rockel in Las Vegas...on the quest to attain a record of titles like that set by Lee Haney and matched by IFBB Pro Ronnie Coleman at the "Super Bowl of bodybuilding."
