The Item: Career Updates, Special Appearances, Andrew Oye's IFBB Pro Athletes Roundup

The Scoop:
Recently Reported: IFBB Pro League athletes had career updates or made recent guest appearances at various bodybuilding, physique and fitness events. The "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report" latest roundup includes Olympia-caliber heavyweights across the board.

The "So What?":
Over the weekend, while several pros were competing at the IFBB Mr. Europe Pro Bodybuilding Championships (won by IFBB Pro Robert Piotrkowicz) in Spain, the annual top-heavy, Stateside guest-posing gig rocked the NPC/IFBB Pittsburgh Championships. This year's lineup included 2-time and reigning Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Phil Heath; 4-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Jay Cutler; 2013 IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Champion and 2012 Masters Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Dexter Jackson; 2-time Arnold Classic Champion IFBB Pro Branch Warren; 2-time Arnold Classic Winner IFBB Pro Kai Greene; 2012 IFBB Pro Arnold Classic Europe Champion IFBB Pro Shawn Rhoden; Olympia 212 Showdown Champion IFBB Pro Flex Lewis; and IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series contender IFBB Pro Dennis Wolf.

Also spotted in Pennsylvania: IFBB Pro Hall of Fame Athlete IFBB Pro Kevin Levrone, Emcee IFBB Pro Bob Cicherillo, and IFBB Pro Brian Yersky. IFBB Pro Roelly Winklaar was the guest poser at the NPC Emerald Cup Championships in Bellevue, WA, where IFBB Pro Mark Dugdale and IFBB Pro Frank McGrath also appeared. Two Olympians also hosted amateur contests. 8-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Ronnie Coleman's NPC Ronnie Coleman Classic was held in Mesquite, TX, where legendary 8-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Lee Haney made an appearance. The NPC Jay Cutler Classic was held in Boston, MA, where Cutler, Lewis, and IFBB Pro Jose Raymond jumped on stage for a posedown.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: Some contest promoters who struggle to pull together a decent lineup of competitors for their shows are probably a tad envious of the top-shelf roster of guest posers the NPC/IFBB Pittsburgh promoters draw year after year.
