The Item: Career Updates, Bodybuilding Contest Results, Andrew Oye's IFBB Pro Athletes Roundup

The Scoop: Recently Reported: IFBB Pro League athletes had career updates or made recent guest appearances at various sports, bodybuilding, physique and fitness events. The latest "Andrew Oye's Pro Muscle Report" Pro Athletes Roundup includes a mix of international pros.

The "So What?": Former IFBB Pro Lee Priest signed a new media contract despite a suspension for competing in the PDI Federation. The Australian bodybuilder has been in talks with Athletes Rep IFBB Pro Bob Cicherillo to help with his possible IFBB reinstatement. IFBB Pro Paul Baker just signed an endorsement deal with a sports nutrition company. The 6'1", 280-pound Florida resident is prepping for the IFBB New York Pro Bodybuilding Championships in May.

The 2nd Annual Cyber Classic lured impressive contestants from the cyberspace to the Arnold Sports Festival (host of the IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic, won by IFBB Pro Dexter Jackson). New Brazilian IFBB Pro Eduardo Correa won first place in the Cyber Classic, as well as the Middleweight Class at the Arnold Amateur Bodybuilding Championships. New Egyptian IFBB Pro Tarek Elsetouhi took 2nd place in the Cyber Classic and also won the Arnold Amateur Super-Heavyweight Division, defeating Correa for the Arnold Amateur Overall title.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: If allowed, Lee Priest plans to enter the Under 202 Division, a relatively new class his physique could dominate. What a way to jump-start a pro career for Eduardo Correa, who had previously qualified for pro status with a Middleweight-Class victory at the 2007 IFBB World Championships but elected to retain amateur status. Congrats to Paul Baker, the first Jamaican to earn an IFBB Pro card. Maybe we'll see some of the aforementioned athletes at Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend (where 2-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Jay Cutler defends his title).
