Endurance / performance formula with lactic acid buffersHigh potencies of electrolytes to assist proper hydration and alpha L-polylactate (purported to buffer lactic acid) are the two primary ingredients in CytoMax, the long standing endurance blend from CytoSport. Gurana seed extract is added to assist energy along with a small amount of glutamine (muscle synthesis support) ginseng (performance enhancement) and chromium nicotinate (blood sugar utilization assistance). CytoMax continues to be a helpful performance blend although the carbohydrates (maltodextrin, fructose and dextrose) could be updated to more effective choices.

| Comments: | solid product minus all the BS fillers. Taste is fine, but has a tendancy to clump when mixing. Overall, for the price and purpose, it's a great buy. |

| Comments: | It's a good mix of the right carbs needed for post workout recovery (I then add whey to it). Nothing fancy. Despite the patent, I think the l-alpha polylactate has been shown in studies to be useless. But again, if you want a mix of carbs at a decent price, this works fine. |
