Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like compound also called ubiquinone. It is an essential component of cells and is utilized by the mitochondria in the normal process of energy generation. Coenzyme Q10 has reputed antioxidant capacity and has been linked, anecdotally, to enhanced cellular energy production. Lecithin is purified phosphatidyl choline (PC) and is needed to maintain cell membrane integrity and to facilitate the movement of fats in and out of cells, while the Vitamin E here may provide extra antioxidant action.
