Secreted from the pineal gland and thought to be responsible primarily for sleep regulation, melatonin (N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine) has been shown in certain scientific literature to help restore normal sleep patterns and may have mood enhancement benefits. This Optimum version is a 3 mg tablet.

Recommended Usage: As a dietary supplement take one tablet 30-60 minutes before bedtime, or use as directed by a physician or licensed nutritionist. Do not exceed one tablet within a 24-hour period.
