Time it took to complete Transformation: 3 years
My Story: In July 2008, I weighed 200lb. I admitted to myself that I was an emotional eater, and that I didn't want to live that way anymore. I started a strength training program and clean eating plan. By late 2009, I had lost over 50lbs and thought more and more about becoming a figure competitor. During this time I went through a divorce after 20 years. By the beginning of 2010, I decided to compete for the first time. When I stepped on stage in June of 2010, I knew I was hooked. In 2011, I qualified for NPC Nationals, and placed mid way through a class of over 40 in the largest NPC competition in history.
