WILLIAM BONAC WINS IFBB PRO STATUS IN HOLLAND

The Item: Contest Results/New IFBB Pro League Cards

The Scoop: Recently Announced: William Bonac was named the Overall winner at the 2010 Juliette Bergmann Classic Bodybuilding Championships in Holland. Bonac's physique is well proportioned and his display of boulder biceps and separated mass took him to the top of the Over 90 kg Class. This win qualified the 5'5", 27-year-old Bonac for IFBB Pro League athlete status.

The "So What?": Bonac won his IFBB Pro card at the inaugural edition of the NBBF's Juliette Bergmann Classic, which Dutch bodybuilder and three-time Ms. Olympia Juliette Bergmann hopes to make an annual event. The Netherlands' sensation IFBB Pro Roelly Winklaar served as the show's guest poser.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: The next goal of new IFBB Pro William Bonac is to grace Arnold Schwarzenegger's Arnold Classic stage. If Bonac follows in Winklaar's footsteps, the Columbus, Ohio show could possibly showcase an increased number of muscle warriors repping Holland.

Addendum: The latest update from the Arnold Sports Festival camp (on Dec. 10, 2010): "The Netherlands sensation, William Bonac, won't accept a Pro Card until after the Arnold Amateur, so he will be in Columbus competing in March 2011. He will be a threat to win the Overall and earn a spot in the 2012 Arnold Classic."
