The Item: Supplement Sponsor Contract Signing
The Scoop: Just announced: IFBB Pro Phil Heath signs a supplement sponsorship contract with MuscleTech. "Well, the cat is out of the bag," Heath writes in a post that preceded the official announcement. "I will be meeting with MuscleTech today to finalize my new supplement contract. I am very excited!"
The "So What?": The 2010 Arnold Classic runner-up,, Heath joins a roster that includes IFBB Pro League athletes Jay Cutler, Dexter Jackson, Branch Warren, Darrem Charles and David Henry. A little over a week ago, Heath was in California for press shoots with another top Olympia contender Kai Greene, setting the stage for a "rivalry" that might be used to promote the Big "O" for the next few years.
Andrew Oye's verdict: While some watchers say 30-year-old Heath is somehow being "positioned" for greatness, reason says the physique must speak at the end of the day...and, frankly, the guy has a standout physique.
