The Item: Contest Results/New IFBB Pro League Cards
The Scoop: Just Announced: Over the weekend, Lee Banks took top honors at the 2010 IFBB North American Bodybuilding and Figure Championships in Cleveland, OH. The Open Division's overall battle pit Heavyweight Class Winner Banks against the other class winners: Abbas Khatami (Super-Heavyweight), Parenthesis Devers (Light-Heavyweight), Alan Bailey (Middleweight), Kent Bierly (Welterweight), Sergio Moya-Alanis (Lightweight) and Asuncion Alcocer-Lopez (Bantamweight). Banks earned an IFBB Pro League card, along with Khatami and Overall 40+ Masters Winner Devers.
The "So What?": Banks was highly favored going into the competition. He placed 2nd in his class at this contest in both 2008 and 2009. Banks' victory continues the streak of Heavyweight Class winners claiming the North American Overall title for four years in a row.
Andrew Oye's verdict: Banks' impressive shape and structure make him one to watch as he makes his way into the IFBB pro ranks.
