The Scoop: Recently announced: This weekend, Muscular Development magazine hosts the
MD Superstar Seminar at Bev Francis' Powerhouse Gym in Syosset, NY on June 6. The educational seminar dispenses information about the sport of bodybuilding to athletes.
The Tentative Schedule:
12:00 - 12:30 Introduction
12:30 - 3:00 Training Clinics
3:00 - 330 (Lunch Break)
3:30 - 4:00 Posing Clinic
4:00 - 4:30 Sports Supplementation
4:30 - 5:00 Pre Contest Preparation
5:00 - 5:30 Roundtable with the Pros
5:30 - 6:00 Photographs and Autograph Signing
The "So What?": The clinics allow attendees to interact with professional competitors to gain insight regarding training techniques, posing, contest judging criteria and more. Scheduled to appear: Reigning Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler, IFBB Pros Branch Warren, Victor Martinez, Fouad Abiad, Evan Centopani, Jeff Long and Erik Fankhouser, plus more.
Andrew Oye's verdict: The second Superstar Seminar of the year serves up a stacked lineup with a lot to offer aspiring bodybuilders.
