The Item: IFBB Pro League Contest Competitors List
The Scoop: Just Announced: Competition promoters just released the list of athletes that will compete at the Pro Bodybuilding Weekly 2011 IFBB Tampa Pro Bodybuilding Championships (June 25).
Open Class Competitors:
IFBB Pro Khalid Almohsinawi
IFBB Pro Santana Anderson
IFBB Pro Lee Banks
IFBB Pro Brandon Curry
IFBB Pro Marius Dohne
IFBB Pro Mark Dugdale
IFBB Pro Marcus Haley
IFBB Pro Jason Huh
IFBB Pro Marc Lavoie
IFBB Pro Frank McGrath
IFBB Pro Alexandre Nataf
IFBB Pro Jerry Nicholls
IFBB Pro Robert Piotrkowicz
IFBB Pro Jonathan Rowe
IFBB Pro Gregory Ulysse
IFBB Pro Hidetada Yamagishi
202 Class Competitors:
IFBB Pro John Arendsz
IFBB Pro Al Auguste
IFBB Pro Gianluca Catapano
IFBB Pro Pierre Chamoun
IFBB Pro James Darling
IFBB Pro Luc Molines
IFBB Pro Cvetko Stojmenovski
IFBB Pro Rixio Tapia
IFBB Pro Vince Wawryk
IFBB Pro Nathan Wonsley
The "So What?": IFBB Pro Ben White won the Open Class and IFBB Pro Jose Raymond won the 202 Class at the 2010 Tampa Pro Championships, but neither will return to the competition this year. Florida-based Jason Huh was a late entry to this year's roster.
Andrew Oye's Verdict: Hidetada Yamagishi looks like an early front-runner, with some attention directed at Banks, Curry and McGrath. Eyes will also be on Mark Dugdale to see how he stacks up in the Open Class, transitioning from the 202 Class like several of his peers lately.
