The Scoop: Over the weekend, IFBB Pro Phil Heath was crowned the 2011 Mr. Olympia at Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend in Las Vegas, NV.

The "So What?": This 2011 victory awards Phil Heath his first Mr. Olympia title in his professional bodybuilding career. The 2nd place runner-up at the 2010 Olympia, Phil Heath upset 4-time titleholder Jay Cutler's quest for a fifth Sandow Olympia trophy at this year's contest. Last year's 3rd place finisher, IFBB Pro Branch Warren was sidelined with a quad injury.
Andrew Oye's Verdict: Since I predicted he should win, I'm satisfied with the naming of IFBB Pro Phil Heath as the 2011 Mr. Olympia. Among the very top players on the scene, he represents a blend of what is currently rewarded on today's bodybuilding stage, (mass with rounded muscle) and what was rewarded on yesteryear's bodybuilding stage (classic structure of broad shoulders with a tapered waist).
