The Item: IFBB Pro League Contest Results

The Scoop: Over the weekend, IFBB Pro Ed Nunn knocked out his competition, winning 1st place at the 2011 IFBB Tijuana International Pro Bodybuilding Championships. IFBB Pro Marcus Haley was the 2nd place finisher. IFBB Pro Robert Piotrkowicz placed in the 3rd position. IFBB Pro Moe Elmoussawi took 4th place and IFBB Pro Alfonso Del Rio finished 5th. The Top 3 finishers earned qualifications to compete at the Olympia next weekend in Las Vegas (September 16).

The "So What?": This was Ed Nunn's first victory in a professional bodybuilding contest. Three of Tijuana's Top 5 had just placed Top 5 at the Phoenix Pro two weeks ago - IFBB Pro Ed Nunn (3rd), Marcus Haley (4th) and Alfonso Del Rio (5th) - finishing the year strong. The Tijuana contest was the last chance for IFBB Pros to quality for the 2011 Olympia

Andrew Oye's Verdict: With one of the tightest waists in bodybuilding, IFBB Pro Ed Nunn is quickly gaining fans among those that favor the X-frame physique on the pro stage.
