The Item: IFBB Pro League Contest Results

The Scoop: Just Announced: Over the weekend, IFBB Pro Dennis Wolf was declared the winner of the Open Division at the 2012 IFBB Pro Prague Pro Bodybuilding Championships. IFBB Pro Shawn Rhoden was awarded 2nd place. IFBB Pro Johnnie Jackson finished in 3rd place. IFBB Pro Ed Nunn came in 4th place and IFBB Pro Toney Freeman in 5th place.

The remaining field: 6th Robert Piotrkowicz, 7th Ronny Rockel, 8th Roelly Winklaar, 9th Michael Kefalianos, 10th Thomas Benagli, 11th Yuri Leonov, 12th Grigori Atoyan, 13th Alvin Small, 14th Daniele Seccarecci, 15th Jaime Atienza, 16th Tommi Thorvildsen

The "So What?": As reported in "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report," the 2012 Prague Championships represented the return of IFBB professional competition to the Czech Republic after 14 years.. The IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series Point System: (1st automatic qualification, 2nd - 4 Points, 3rd - 3 Points, 4th - 2 Points, 5th - 1 Point) applies to eligibility to compete at the 2013 Olympia in Las Vegas and face reigning Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Phil Heath.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: Congrats to Wolf. In my estimation, Rhoden took the show with the best overall balance, and a victory in Prague would have nicely capped off an already remarkable 2012 contest season for him.
