IFBB PRO DENNIS WOLF DOMINATES AT 2011 AUSTRALIAN PRO GRAND PRIX

The Item: IFBB Pro League Contest Results

The Scoop: Just announced: IFBB Pro Dennis Wolf was named the winner of the 2011 Australian Grand Prix Pro Bodybuilding Championships over the weekend. Wolf had a physique high on conditioning and aesthetics to take the win. IFBB Pro Johnnie Jackson came in 2nd place, bringing a slightly improved package and his signature beastly back. Australia's own IFBB Pro Michael Kefalianos took 3rd place with notable shape and conditioning. The Top 3 qualify to compete at the 2011 Olympia (September 16).

The "So What?": Fresh from his 2nd place finish at the 2011 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic, Wolf was the pre-show odds-on favorite to win the Australian Grand Prix. However, some in attendance felt Jackson gave him an unexpected fight. Unfortunately, IFBB Pro Silvio Samuel was unable to make his comeback in Aussie Land as he had planned, pending visa approval.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: Kefalianos displays better lower-body proportions than Jackson and could have taken the 2nd place spot, but congrats to him for qualifying to compete at the Mr. Olympia contest for the second time in his pro career.
