The Item: IFBB Pro League Contest Results

The Scoop: Just Announced: Over the weekend, IFBB Pro David Henry wins 1st place at the 2012 Asian Grand Prix Pro Bodybuilding Championships (a.k.a. Sheru Classic) in New Delhi, India. IFBB Pro Jose Raymond racked up 2nd place. IFBB Pro Mohammad Masoom took 3rd place. IFBB Pro Guy Cisternino finished in 4th place, followed by IFBB Pro Luke O. in 5th place.

The "So What?": The IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series Point System: (1st automatic qualification, 2nd - 6 Points, 3rd - 5 Points, 4th - 4 Points, 5th - 3 Points) applies to eligibility to compete at the 2013 Olympia Weekend to face the new Olympia 212 Showdown Champion IFBB Pro Flex Lewis. The Sheru Classic is a Tier 2 contest, i.e., one of few to award more points per placing than Tier 3 and Tier 4 contests.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: As reported in "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report," the Asian Grand Prix added a 212 Division contest for the first time. Lucky for David Henry, a former Olympia 202/212 Showdown winner who was unable to reclaim the title against Flex Lewis a week ago and is regaining his competitive stride following a break for military commitments.
