The Scoop: Recently Reported: The childhood home of actor, legendary Mr. Olympia and retired IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger was converted to a museum to honor the former California Governor and iconic bodybuilder. Just in time for his 64TH birthday on July 30, 2011, the facility opened to the public in Thal, Schwarzenegger's birthplace in southern Austria.
The "So What?": While the "Terminator" movie star, featured this month on the sports and entertainment mag MUSCLE INK Magazine (www.muscle-ink.com) was absent for the grand opening, museum associates say he will soon visit to deliver his new 9-foot bronze statue (reported about in Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report in February). The two-story home was restored to resemble the way it appeared when Schwarzenegger resided there. The museum features Schwarzenegger's photos, his first weight set, movie memorabilia, and a replica of his governor's office.
Andrew Oye's Verdict: With the former "Governator" recently heading "back home" to Hollywood movies, Schwarzenegger is likely longing to add to that a journey back to his original home where it all began.
