The Scoop: Recently Reported: MLB and IFBB Pro League athletes made recent guest appearances at various bodybuilding, physique and fitness events. The "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report" latest roundup includes the Olympia champ and a baseball star.
IFBB Pro Ben Pakulski was the guest poser at the NPC Honolulu Cup Bodybuilding Championships in Waikiki, Hawaii. IFBB Pro Cedric McMillan took the stage at the NPC Mid-Atlantic Classic in Charlotte, NC, while IFBB Pro Steve Kuclo appeared at the Central Texas Showdown in Waco. Retired IFBB Pro Chris Cormier held a clinic at the NPC Badger State Championships in Wisconsin, while the following athletes guest posed at other NPC contests: IFBB Pro Branden Ray in Oregon, IFBB Pro Jon Delarosa in New Hampshire, and IFBB Pro Fred Smalls in Pennsylvania.
The "So What?": As for Mr. O's: IFBB Pro Mr. Olympia Phil Heath was the featured guest performer at the NPC Titans Grand Prix in Culver City, CA, where Major League Baseball All-Time Home Run Leader Barry Bonds was also spotted in the crowd. At the NPC Western Michigan Championships, 4-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Jay Cutler was a guest, and rookie IFBB Pro Joe Romine posed. IFBB Pro Ed Nunn was the guest poser at the NPC Dexter Jackson Memphis Classic in Tennessee, hosted by 1998 Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Dexter Jackson.
Andrew Oye's Verdict: Always nice to see athletes from various sports supporting each other.
