My Story: I was a skinny kid in elementary, chubby in middle school, and scrawny in the first part of high school. My uncle inspired me to work out while I was living with him. He'd always be working out in the day and night. He'd do handstand push ups in sets of 30 while asking me about how my day at school was. I started working out and was in good shape by graduation. After high school, I got hooked on online gaming and just stopped caring about working out at that point. Four years later, I happened to go to the campus gym. I was weaker in every lift than I was at 17. I looked in the mirror and said ? I can't lie to myself anymore.? When I realized the 17 year old, 150 lbs me could kick the crap out of me at 22, 186 lbs, I decided it was time to make a change. I?ve yet to look back. The gym was no longer a chore, but was fun like it was as a teen. I want to see how far I can take this and hope I look like my uncle by the time I'm at his age. It's never too late to start!
