My Story: I was always overweight growing up as a kid. I was constantly being picked on for not being the same size as every other teenager my age. I have always tried to diet and workout, but never stuck with it. My family has a lot of health and heart issues. I was never truly aware of the possible health risks until my father had a heart attack. I knew that I needed to make a change in my life, seeing as I was turning 21 and heading down a bad road. I went on a diet of 1000 calories and cut out the drinking, carbs, sugars, and all the foods I would normally eat. I started to work out 6 days a week and also have a trainer on the side for boxing and kickboxing. I hit my first goal of 100 pounds in 9 months and have another 30-50 to go in another 3 months. I'm now in the best shape I've ever been and still striving for the best quality of life.
