Starting Weight: 422 lbs
Current Weight: 211 lbs
Time it took to complete Transformation: 10 years
My Story: I topped out at 422 lbs a 10 yrs ago last November. I was being wheeled in for laparascopic gastric bypass surgery and asked to step on the scale after a week of eating even more than usual. It took me 8 years to get where I want to be, although I somehow feel like I may never TOTALLY be where I want to be. I got down, initially, to 225 lbs 18-24 months post surgery then within the next few years, despite continuing to work out, I was back up to 268lbs. I changed my workout routine, eating habits, etc., and have been as low as 195 lbs and have maintained a weight of between 195lbs-215lbs for over 3 years now. Gastric bypass got me started, HARD work keeps me where I am. I do 2 hrs of cardio/day and lift weights. I haven't missed a day at the gym in almost 4 years.
