My Story: Beginning college, I began lifting and found a five day split and decided to jump into it full steam ahead. I was only relying on bro-science from friends and little knowledge of my own. I was just hungry to get big!!! Sadly, I did it in the wrong ways. I stuffed my face every hour on the hour to try to get enough protein. This consisted of allot of peanut butter, pizzas, muffins, whole grain breads, hamburgers and frozen foods. I thought I had to eat every hour on the hour to not go catabolic and I ended up probably 3500-4500 calories a day over my R.M.R. After returning from college people pointed out how fat I had become. It was time to change. Over the next year I studied fitness articles, picked up a healthy diet using macro nutrients for guidance, and pushed myself to my absolute limits. My motivation was strong and it was simply picturing what i wanted to look like to be accepted by people and feel comfortable. I still have a ways to go but I refuse to stop now no matter what!!!!
Supplements Used to Help Achieve Goal:
- Whey protein -- 2 scoops post workout
- Pre-workout -- on the days i felt tired after work

- Multivitamin -- to fill in nutrient gaps
