My Story: In the past, I tried losing weight twice on different occasions, but eventually lost motivation and gave up. My BEFORE photo is the result of no exercise, not eating right and always drinking soda.
In mid-2008, I took up running but didn't change my diet. I always felt better after I ran but wasn't getting the result that I wanted. Then, in early of 2009, I changed my diet. I started to eat less (not necessarily eating right but just less calorie intake) and gave up soda. Soon, I started to see results. I was getting skinny - face getting smaller, ribs showing, and stomach shrinking. On June 2, 2009, I took up weightlifting, going to the gym 4 to 5 times a day. First of all, I never was interested in getting big. I was more drawn to getting lean and slim, like a runner's physique.
The AFTER photo is the result of diet, drinking only water (and lots of it), getting plenty of rest, working out 4-5 times a day, and running everyday.
