My Story: I was a NCAA D3 College Football player, Offensive Line. I started my Freshman and Sophomore year. Had weight room numbers that were great for my age and just kept getting stronger and bigger. During the 2-a-Days my junior and senior year I tore my ACL on the same leg exactly 1 year apart, which results in two surgeries. So I knew my playing days were over, I graduated and became and health physical education teacher. I had my second ACL reconstruction surgery done my first year as a teacher, but afterwards rehab was more painful, which in turned caused me to be less active. The problem in all of it was that I was still eating like I played college football. I ballooned to 285. I have been a coach of football, wrestling, and track since I've been hired. 285 was when I snapped.I've been a weight room junkie, just like I was before but with the right diet and exercise I have lost 85 lbs. I am blessed that I can be an example to my athletes or students who think transforming can't be done.
