ANDREW OYE'S IFBB PRO CONTEST REPORT: IFBB PRO JOSE RAYMOND WINS TORONTO PRO BODYBUILDING CHAMPIONSHIPS 212 CLASS

The Scoop: Just Announced: Over the weekend, IFBB Pro Jose Raymond raised the bar, winning 1st place in the 212 Division at the 2013 Toronto Pro Bodybuilding Championships. IFBB Pro Mark Dugdale dug his way to the 2nd place spot. IFBB Pro Raul Carrasco Jimenez finished in 3rd place. IFBB Pro Mboya Edwards fell from 3rd place last year to 4th place this year. IFBB Pro Al Auguste was awarded 5th place.
The "So What?": As reported in "Andrew Oye's Pro Muscle Report," the IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series Point System (1st automatic qualification, 2nd - 4 Points, 3rd - 3 Points, 4th - 2 Points, 5th - 1 Point) applies to IFBB Pro League athletes' eligibility to compete at the 2013 Olympia Weekend 212 Showdown (September 26-29) in Las Vegas to face reigning Olympia 212 Showdown Champion IFBB Pro Flex Lewis.
Andrew Oye's Verdict: Combining his victory at the previous weekend's IFBB New York Pro Bodybuilding Championships and the most recent Toronto Pro SuperShow, IFBB Pro Jose Raymond is steadily climbing the overall ranks of 212 Division athletes in 2013, likely with hopes of besting his 4th place finish at the 2012 Olympia Weekend- since none of the IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic franchises (Ohio, Europe, Brazil) offer a 212 Class contest yet.
