The "So What?":
As reported in "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report," in 2012, IFBB professional bodybuilding competition returned to the Czech Republic after 14 years. The IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series Point System: (1st automatic qualification, 2nd - 6 Points, 3rd - 5 Points, 4th - 4 Points, 5th - 3 Points) applies to IFBB Pro League athletes' eligibility to compete at the 2014 Olympia to face reigning 212 Olympia Showdown Champ IFBB Pro James Lewis. The Prague Pro Championships is a Tier 2 contest, i.e., one of few to award more points per placing than Tier 3 and Tier 4 contests. IFBB Pro Flex Lewis repeats in Prague, having also won the 2012 Prague Championships. IFBB Pro William Bonac, who took 4th place in the 212 Division at last year's Prague Pro, went on to take 5th place in the Open Division at this year's contest.
Andrew Oye's Verdict:
Congrats to the Prague Pro for advancing from a Tier 4 to a Tier 2 contest in the IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series Point System this season (on par with IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Europe Championships). This weekend, 212 Division competitors also had an opportunity for Olympia Qualification Series points at the IFBB Phoenix Pro Championships in Arizona.
