The Item: Contest Results, New IFBB Pro League Cards, Special Appearances, Andrew Oye's IFBB Pro Athletes Roundup

The Scoop: Just Reported: IFBB Pro League athletes had career updates or made recent guest appearances at various bodybuilding, physique and fitness events. The "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report" latest roundup also announces NPC competitors joining the IFBB Pro ranks. Las Vegas played host to the 2013 NPC USA Bodybuilding Championships, where new IFBB Pro cards were awarded to athletes. At the 2013 NPC Masters National Bodybuilding Championships in Pittsburgh, PA, new pros were crowned.

The "So What?": New IFBB Pro Max Charles won the Super-Heavyweight Class and the Overall Open Class at the USA Championships. Other new pros: Richie Langit, Derek Leverant, Breon Ansley, Kevin Ofurum and Rafael Jaramillo. In attendance at the USA's: 4-time Mr. Olympia IFBB Pro Jay Cutler, IFBB Pro Stan McQuay and retired pros IFBB Pro Don Long, IFBB Pro Bob Cicherillo, IFBB Pro Dennis James, and 4-time IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Champ IFBB Pro Flex Wheeler. At the Masters Nationals, pro status was earned by IFBB Pro Mike Yablon, IFBB Pro Joe Derousie, IFBB Pro Michael Ely, IFBB Pro Pete Ciccone and IFBB Pro Tim McGuire.

Andrew Oye's Verdict: Now we'll have to see who makes waves in IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series contests. Maybe some of the aforementioned new pros will gain popularity on the guest-posing circuit like their predecessors who hit stages recently, including Masters-level vet IFBB Pro Toney Freeman, who appeared in Japan, and 2011 USA Championships winner IFBB Pro Steve Kuclo, who was the featured guest at last weekend's NPC Battle on the Bay in Corpus Christi, TX.
