The Item: Career Updates, Special Appearances, Andrew Oye's IFBB Pro Athletes Roundup

The Scoop: Recently Reported: IFBB Pro League athletes had career updates or made recent guest appearances at various bodybuilding, physique and fitness events. The "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report" latest roundup includes the Jacksons and the Japanese sensation.

The "So What?":
Over the weekend, 4-time IFBB Pro Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Champion, 1998 Mr. Olympia and 2012 Masters Olympia Champion, IFBB Pro Dexter Jackson hosted the NPC Dexter Jackson Classic Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure, Bikini and Physique Championships in Jacksonville, Florida. The featured guest posers at Jackson's contest were IFBB Pro Ben Pakulski and IFBB Pro Ed Nunn.

2-time Arnold Classic Winner IFBB Pro Branch Warren (who held his own contest three weeks ago) was the featured guest poser at the NPC Arkansas State Bodybuilding Championships in Little Rock, AR, while Japan's IFBB Pro Hidetada Yamagishi took the stage as a guest at the NPC Knox Classic Bodybuilding Championships in Knoxville, TN. Prepping for returns to the competitive stage at next weekend's IFBB Tampa Pro Bodybuilding Championships and seeking IFBB Pro Olympia Qualification Series points are IFBB Pro Evan Centopani (who last competed at the 2012 Olympia Weekend - 8th place) and IFBB Pro Jason Huh (who last competed at the 2012 Tampa Pro - 7th place).

Andrew Oye's Verdict: Regular readers of "Andrew Oye's Pro-Muscle Report" know that I dig reporting on IFBB Professional athletes' involvement in other sports in any capacity. IFBB Pro Johnnie Jackson, who is also know for his participation in the sport of powerlifting, coached young athletes on the importance of nutrition, hydration and more topics at a youth summer football camp in Argyle, TX.
